55 Combat Engagements Across Frontline, Pokrovsk Sector Hits Hardest

The Ukrainian General Staff reported that 55 combat engagements took place along the entire frontline over the last day, with 33 of these occurring in the Pokrovsk sector. The enemy’s attacks were concentrated in 15 settlements, and nine of these battles are still ongoing.

Russian forces continued to bombard Ukrainian positions with artillery, targeting areas along the border regions, including Mykhalchyna-Sloboda in Chernihiv and multiple settlements in the Sumy region. In the Kharkiv sector, there was no major offensive action but an airstrike was launched at Vovchansky Khutory. In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian forces managed to repel four assault attempts near Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Lozova, and Nova Kruhlyakivka.

Meanwhile, the enemy carried out multiple airstrikes in various regions, including Hremyach, Slavhorod, and Seredyna Buda. The Liman sector remains a flashpoint, with the enemy attacking areas near Kopanky, Terny, and Kolodyazi. Airstrikes were also reported near Nadiia.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped three enemy advances near Chasiv Yar and Fedorivka. The Toretsk sector experienced five attacks, with three ongoing engagements. The enemy also targeted Ukrainian positions in the Novopavlivka and Orikhivske directions.

The Pokrovsk sector remains the focal point of the fighting, with nine clashes still ongoing. In addition, Russian forces launched multiple airstrikes and attempted to storm positions in various locations, including near Kozatsky Island and in the Kursk direction.

Despite these attacks, the overall situation has not significantly changed in other sectors.
