Ukraine Releases Video of Russian Attack Via Gas Pipeline in Kursk Oblast

Ukrainian troops successfully repelled an attack by Russian sabotage and assault groups that attempted to use a gas pipeline to establish a foothold near the town of Sudzha in Russia’s Kursk region. The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed the engagement on March eighth and released footage of the battle.

The attack occurred as Russian forces pushed south of Sudzha, attempting to breach the Russia Ukraine border near Ukraine’s Sumy region. Ukrainian troops fighting in Kursk reported on March seventh that Russia had disrupted supply chains for ammunition and food, putting them at risk of encirclement.

After spotting Russian special forces near the pipeline, Ukrainian airborne assault troops launched a counterattack using missiles, artillery, and drones. The Ukrainian military stated that Russian forces in the Sudzha area suffered heavy losses and were being detected, blocked, and destroyed.
